About Leucistic Golden Teacher
Leucistic Golden Teacher is a pale variant of the famous Golden Teacher. Leucism means a partial loss of pigment, so documented specimens are creamy white with faint colour rather than fully albino.
Microscopy Notes
Unlike true albinos, leucistic strains generally still produce pigmented spores, though prints can be a little lighter. It makes an excellent comparison with standard Golden Teacher.
What You Receive
- 2 x sterile Leucistic Golden Teacher spore swabs
- Individually wrapped and labelled
How to Use a Spore Swab on a Slide
Wearing clean gloves, open one end of the sleeve and lightly tap or roll the cotton tip across a clean glass slide. Add a small drop of water, lower a cover slip and view at 400x or higher. Return the swab to its sleeve and reseal for next time.
Legal Information
Spore swabs are legal to buy and own in the UK because cubensis spores contain no psilocybin. They are sold for microscopy, taxonomy and research only. Cultivation of psilocybin mushrooms is illegal and we do not provide growing advice. Over 18s only.
Storage
Keep swabs sealed in a cool, dark place, ideally the fridge. Dry spores keep well, which is why so many collectors choose spore swabs for their archives.
