Simple, secure bank transfer.
At the moment we take payment by direct bank transfer. It’s quick, it’s secure and it means we never see or store your card details.
How paying by bank transfer works

Use your order number as the reference
It’s how we match your payment to your order. Without it, things take longer to sort out.
Your order number, e.g. 1450
Most UK banks use Faster Payments, so transfers usually arrive within minutes. Now and then a bank will hold a first payment to a new payee for a few hours, which is completely normal.
Why no card or PayPal?
Most card payment companies and PayPal simply won’t work with businesses that sell mushroom spores, even though selling spores in the UK is perfectly legal, as they don’t contain any controlled substance. Nearly every UK spore supplier is in the same boat. Rather than use a workaround that could get shut down overnight and leave your money in limbo, we stick with bank transfer. We’re always keeping an eye out for other options and will add them here as soon as we can.
Your money, your bank, your control
No card details
You pay straight from your own bank, so we never see your card or login details.
Nothing stored
We don’t keep your bank details anywhere other than our business bank statement.
Name checks
Your bank may check the name on our account when you add us as a new payee. If anything doesn’t look right, stop and contact us before sending any money.
We’ll never ask you to pay elsewhere
We will never email, text or call asking you to pay into a different account. If anyone does, it isn’t us.
Getting money back
If you’re due a refund, we’ll send it back by bank transfer to the account you paid from. Our returns and refunds page has all the details.
