We’re a small UK team who are properly obsessed with mushrooms. We sell the spores, grow kits and growing supplies we’d happily use ourselves, prepared in our own lab and posted out discreetly from the North West.
You might know us as Shiny Spores
If you’ve been around the UK mycology scene for a while, the name might ring a bell. We spent years selling spore syringes, grow kits and grain spawn as Shiny Spores and learnt a lot along the way, mostly about what growers actually need and what just gets in the way.
Magical Spores is the next chapter. Same people, same standards, a much bigger range and a proper home for everything we’ve learnt.

Dodgy grain, syringes with more floaters than spores and nobody to ask when things went wrong. We wanted to be the supplier we wished we’d found back then, and that’s still the test we use for everything we sell.

Clean technique
In mushroom growing, clean prep is the difference between a lovely flush and a bag of green mould. Grain and substrate are pressure sterilised and syringes are checked before they go out.

Grow kits are made to order, so you get them fresh rather than after weeks sat on a shelf.
